Water Conditioning Equipment
Water conditioning to MIOX systems is very important; feed water to the MIOX unit must be conditioned for optimal system performance. This includes filtration, removal of calcium carbonate, control of temperature, and control of pressure.
The pressure boost pump provides required feed water pressure if the facility supply pressure is inadequate.
(Left image) The water filter cartridges remove particulate matter from feed water. (Right image) The water softeners remove calcium carbonate from the water supply to prevent build-up on the electrolytic cell.
The heater heats feed water to minimum temperature requirements to avoid damage to the electrolytic cell.
The Chiller cools feed water to optimal temperature range to avoid overheating the electrolytic cell and components downstream.
