Brine Generation
Salt is the primary feedstock to the MIOX system and is necessary for electrolysis. Dry salt is stored in a tank that also serves as the brine generator.
Brine Tank – stores salt and simultaneously generates brine. Salt can be ordered in bags or in bulk, which is delivered pneumatically by a truck.

Brine Filter – standard pleated cartridge filters are placed after the brine tank to remove any particulate matter from the brine solution
Brine Boost Pump – when necessary, these pumps help to transfer brine from the tank to the electrolytic cell
