Redundancy
Water is too precious a commodity to risk your water disinfection system “going down.”
MIOX systems are modular and capacity can be expanded without limit. Each cell has a dedicated power supply, controller, and brine pump, meaning that one unit can be taken off-line while the others remain operational. Redundancy can be built in by modularizing systems, keeping a spare cell on hand, sizing the oxidant tank adequately, and utilizing concentrated hypochlorite as a last recourse. Note that the peripheral equipment, including pumps, filters, and tanks, can all be duplexed as well.
