Expanding Easy Access to Clean, Safe Water in Ukraine
MIOX Corporation - December 05, 2012

By the end of 2013 ONIKO PE, a supplier of medical and water disinfection products in Ukraine, plans to complete at least 50 RIO Zuni installations. ONIKO has numerous MIOX installations across Ukraine and was one of the first MIOX distributors to test the pilot unit of what is now known as the RIO Zuni.

In 2011, the Krono Wood Processing Plant located 400 miles southwest of Kiev began investigating alternative water disinfection methods in an effort to improve the access to safe drinking water at the plant. Today, the plant uses well water disinfected with MIOX Mixed Oxidant Solution chemistry and has successfully resolved one of its most pressing issues - providing easy access to clean, safe water to its employees.

Home of Arbor Day Switches to MIOX On-Site Generation
MIOX Corporation - December 05, 2012
Nebraska City knew they would have upgrade to their wastewater disinfection program when faced with a new NPDES permit. There are several industrial operations in the city that send their wastewater to the Nebraska City Waste Water Treatment Plant (NCWWTP). Due to the industrial contribution of contaminant, significant color and effluent characteristics would be challenging for any UV disinfection option. Working through MIOX's exclusive partner Parkson, NCWWTP chose the MIOX RIO H3 to bring their treatment process into regulatory compliance.

RIO Zuni Introduction: Revolutionary Cell Technology & Achievement in Design
MIOX Corporation - December 05, 2012
RIO Zuni is a quite remarkable engineering achievement for MIOX. It is truly the result of years of hard work and innovation, driven by obsessive attention to detail. The elegant simplicity is especially evident with its design: ease of use, small footprint and zero maintenance nature. The huge breakthrough the MIOX Science & Technology Team achieved was to integrate all the parts of onsite generation into one small box that is placed on a brine tank.
