MIOX systems can replace the use of bleach or biocides for disinfection applications in agriculture, food processing, transportation cleaning, etc.
The MIOX technology offers a safer and more cost-effective solution than expensive and toxic biocides. Worker safety is improved, since only salt is stored and used to produce an effective halogen solution. MIOX-produced halogen does not contribute to the odors associated with di- and tri-chloramines, as do other forms of chlorine.
