Do MIOX generators require special salt quality for operation?
MIOX generators do not require any special salt quality, any more than any other on-site chlorine generators.
Note: All on-site generators experience the same issues with poor quality salt, primarily related to build-up of calcium carbonate on the electrolytic cell. Due to this fact, we do recommend certain salt parameters to reduce maintenance requirements on your system. For more information, please contact us.
