Carlos Perea
President & CEO
Carlos has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of MIOX since September 2005. Prior to joining MIOX, Carlos has held several roles including President of Qynergy, a technology firm focused on alternative energy, and Chief Financial Officer for Novalux, a semi conductor laser company. Carlos also has extensive experience with Intel Corporation in a variety of operations management and marketing roles. In addition to his role at MIOX, Carlos is active in his community and volunteers his time to several non-profit and economic development focused initiatives. Carlos holds a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of New Mexico and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Kyle Lee
Chief Operating Officer
Kyle joined MIOX Corporation in late 2006, coming from Intel Corporation. Kyle spent 9 years in progressively more responsible manufacturing roles. Prior to Intel, he worked as a financial analyst in the investment banking division of Alex, Brown & Sons, participating in IPO, merger and acquisitions, private equity placements and business valuation projects in the insurance industry. Kyle has an undergraduate degree from Stanford University in quantitative economics, and his MBA from the University of New Mexico.

Anthony Picozzi
Senior Vice President of Sales
Anthony has over 20 years of water and waste water industry expertise. In addition to experience as a manufacturer’s representative and as a contractor, he was a VP with US Filter focusing on National Accounts including CH2M Hill, one of the largest water and waste water engineering firms in the world. He joins us from Siemens where he was responsible for all Municipal Sales in North America including all disinfection equipment. Anthony has a track record of success and brings to MIOX a strong network of professional and industry relationships.
According to Anthony, “The time has come for the world to provide safe drinking water to its people. MIOX will prove to be a key partner in this global initiative.”

Bob Newton
Vice President Industrial Markets
Bob brings over twenty years experience in the global water and wastewater industry. Prior to joining MIOX, he held the position of Global Director Strategic Marketing for Siemens Water Technologies. During his career in the water industry he has held various positions in management, marketing, sales, and business development during his career with Siemens, USFilter, Wheelabrator Technologies & Westates Carbon.
MIOX president and CEO Carlos Perea commented, “We are excited to have Bob leading our expansion into the industrial market space. He is an excellent addition to a very strong sales and marketing team and he brings a wealth of experience and industry relationships.”
Bob holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University and currently resides in the Philadelphia area.

Justin Sanchez
Vice President, Engineering
Justin joined MIOX Corporation in early 2006, coming from Advent Solar, where he utilized his multidisciplinary skill set as Director of Operations to bring a pilot line manufacturing facility from an empty room to first customer shipments. Prior to Advent, Justin spent over seven years at Intel in progressively more responsible engineering and manufacturing positions. He also worked as Chief Engineer for energy industry startup company Qynergy, where he was responsible for device system integration and performance, establishing and executing to development timelines, and supply chain management. Justin has undergraduate and graduate degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, including a BS and MS in Materials Science and an MBA from the Sloan School of Management. He was a participant in MIT’s Leaders for Manufacturing Program. |

Richard Lampasi
Director of Finance
Rich joined MIOX Corporation in late 2006. He has over 20 years of experience in public accounting, banking, the brokerage industry and higher education. His background includes positions with Merrill Lynch, the Northern Trust Company and the University of New Mexico. Rich has a Masters degree in Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, both from St. John’s University in New York and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). |
