MIOX Awarded Frost & Sullivan's North American Product Line Strategy of the Year Award, 2010

Based on the findings of their Best Practices research team, Frost & Sullivan presented the 2010 North American Product Line Strategy of the Year Award in the On-site Hypochlorite Generation Technology Marketplace to MIOX Corporation. The following criteria were used to benchmark MIOX Corporation’s performance against key competitors:

MIOX Selected by The Artemis Project as a Top 50 Water Company, 2009, 2010

Awarded to companies that have excelled in key strategic areas in the emerging advanced water technology sector, MIOX placed 9th in the competition. Established in 2000, The Artemis Project is a boutique consulting practice that brings unique capabilities to 21st century water management, combining an understanding of the most advanced solutions with an international network of developers, investors and users of advanced water technology.

MIOX Named a Global Cleantech 100 Clean Technology Company, 2009

The Global Cleantech 100 is the first ever list highlighting the most promising private clean technology companies around the world. Supported by the Carbon Trust, the Global Cleantech 100 recognizes companies at the forefront of cleantech innovation offering solutions to some of the world's most pressing environmental challenges. Approximately 3,500 companies were nominated/considered.

Inclusion in the OnDC 100 signifies major developments in the creation of new business opportunities that contribute to the renewed and continued prosperity of our country. MIOX was specially selected by the AlwaysOn editorial team and industry experts spanning the globe based on a set of five criteria: innovation, market potential, commercialization, stakeholder value, and media buzz.

Winner of AlwaysOn GreenTech Award, 2008

MIOX was chosen as one of the GoingGreen Top 100 winners, a list that requires major developments in the creation of new business opportunities in the green technology industries. Inclusion in the list was based on a set of five criteria: innovation, market potential, commercialization, shareholder value, and media buzz.

Department of the Navy Top 50 SBIR/STTR Success Stories, 2007

The SBIR/STTR Program was developed to allow the Navy to solicit a competition of ideas from U.S. small businesses. Investments were awarded for technologies that cut costs, streamline production, improve efficiency and effectiveness, and produce superior solutions. MIOX was named to the list for developing the MSR MIOX Purifier Pen.

Nominated for EPA's Green Chemistry Award, 2005

The EPA's Green Chemistry Award is an opportunity for individuals, groups, and organizations to compete for annual awards in recognition of innovations in cleaner, cheaper, smarter chemistry. Nominees are judged by an independent panel of technical experts of the American Chemical Society.

"E" Award for Excellence in Exporting, 2001

MIOX was one of only 9 companies nationwide to win the President's "E" Award for Excellence in Exporting. Recipients must substantially increase export volume, introduce an innovative technology in a competitive market, and have international sales constitute a significant portion of total sales. MIOX Corporation's international sales have traditionally constituted one third of our business.
